The OSM Transport theme comprises three complementary layers: - a layer (fr_osm_transport_infrastructure_point_hstore in French, en_osm_transport_infrastructure_point_hstore in English) containing all the OSM point objects of the selected territory having the type=route, amenity=bus_station, amenity=ferry_terminal, amenity=taxi tags or the OSM public_transport, aeroway, highway, railway keys, translated into French by type=route, equipement=terminal de ferry, equipement=station de taxis, aeroport, voie, voie_ferree - a layer (fr_osm_transport_infrastructure_ligne_hstore in French, en_osm_transport_infrastructure_line_hstore in English) containing all the linear objects of the selected territory having the OSM aeroway, highway, railway keys, translated into French by aeroport, voie, voie_ferree - a layer (fr_osm_transport_routes_ligne_hstore in French, en_osm_transport_routes_line_hstore in English) containing all OSM relations of type=route, which correspond to mapped routes The first two layers display in their attribute table the most important name fields, the addressing, then classified in alphabetical order, about fifty fields corresponding to the most commonly used OSM keys on this theme, as well as a hstore field containing all the OSM tags of the object. The third layer displays in its attribute table the name, place of departure and destination fields, the OSM transport model type and the most commonly used OSM keys for this theme, and also a hstore field. These layers are produced daily by LLg via imposm from the raw data offered by Geofabrik. Consult the parent page for more information, access to the data on the available areas or to other themes.

Country-wide download point and map for partial extraction of OSM thematic layers, available in the original English version or translated into French (for example, amenity=college and craft=joiner become equipement=enseignement supérieur et artisanat=menuisier), and updated daily via imposm from raw data supplied by Geofabrik. There are two ways to download the data: - either the entire territory in one of the formats available via the WFS point "OSM EN and FR thematic layers for the whole country" below - or on a part of the territory to be drawn by yourself or to be chosen within the administrative boundaries of the country in question, by clicking on the link "Extraction by zones or admin boundaries - EN and FR layers" to access from a MapStore context over the country. Demonstration videos are available here: https://llg-collabora.ethibox.fr/s/owY8DQTQpgDr8sw Currently, GEOPACKAGE FORMAT IS NOT FUNCTIONAL (the resulting layers are empty): prefer geojson format to retrieve all field names and convert them to geopackage from QGIS. For further information on this LLg download point, please consult the parent metadata sheet linked at the bottom of this page, which also leads to child sheets presenting each theme offered.

The OSM Administrative Boundaries theme has a single layer (fr_osm_limite_admin_hstore in French, en_osm_admin_boundary_hstore in English) containing all the polygonal objects of the selected territory bearing the OSM admin_level or boundary keys translated into French by niveau_administratif and frontiere. This layer displays in its attribute table the most commonly used keys in OSM for this theme (names, type, administrative level, wikidata, wikipedia, etc.), as well as a hstore field containing all the OSM tags of the object. It is produced daily by LLg via imposm from the raw data offered by Geofabrik. Consult the parent page for more information, access to the data on available areas or to other themes.

During National Science Week on Sunday 26th August 2007, Geoscience Australia opened its doors to the community to showcase a diverse range of work activities. Members of the public had the opportunity to discover how earthquakes are detected, pan for gold, tour the building, view Australia in 3D, become a seafloor detective and talk to the people who work for Australia's national geoscience research organisation. The photographs of that open day have been converted into thumbmail images and are available on the GA web site.

Major hydrological basins and their sub-basins. This dataset divides the African continent according to its hydrological characteristics. The dataset consists of the following information:- numerical code and name of the major basin (MAJ_BAS and MAJ_NAME); - area of the major basin in square km (MAJ_AREA); - numerical code and name of the sub-basin (SUB_BAS and SUB_NAME); - area of the sub-basin in square km (SUB_AREA); - numerical code of the sub-basin towards which the sub-basin flows (TO_SUBBAS) (the codes -888 and -999 have been assigned respectively to internal sub-basins and to sub-basins draining into the sea)

LLg makes available in the IFL OpenStreetMap thematic datasets for French-speaking West African countries, available either with their original attributes ("tags"), mostly in English, or in a version where over 1400 categorized attributes are translated into French, from existing translations in the OSM wiki and JOSM editor. These two datasets each represent 16 layers covering 8 different themes, as well as a "Planet" theme grouping all OSM objects on the territory in order to recreate its own themes. Each theme is presented in the list of related resources below. The attribute table for each theme presents both the most common OSM keys and an hstore field containing all the attributes of each object. --------------------------------------------------- These OpenStreetMap datasets are updated daily via imposm from the raw .obf data supplied by Geofabrik, and then translated. Until these updates are complete, the old layers remain available. --------------------------------------------------- To access the data, scroll down to Sources datasets and open the country file to download the desired theme(s): - either directly from the country sheet, the entire territory in one of the available formats - or from a MapStore context, on a part of the territory to be drawn by yourself or chosen within the administrative boundaries of the country in question.
